On Friday I posted on my Facebook page about the Shades of Pink anthology. I said I would blog more about it on Saturday but also on Friday I had a little accident and broke one of the metacarpal bones in my right hand. Right up near the knuckle. It makes it difficult to type (the Backspace key is getting a lot of exercise this morning) so I put the blog off.
No longer! I’m just too excited to let a little broken bone get in the way.
On Friday, KallySten posted this blog about my contribution to the book. I was so ….is there another word for excited? There must be. *checks thesaurus.com, leaves chamber music in her wake*
Well now, there are several words for ‘excited’.
Main Entry: excited [ik-sahy-tid] Show IPA
Part of Speech: adjective
Definition: inspired; upset
Synonyms: aflame, agitated, animated, annoyed, aroused, awakened, beside oneself, charged, delighted, discomposed, disconcerted, disturbed, eager, enthusiastic, feverish, fired up, frantic, high*, hot and bothered, hot*, hyperactive, hysterical, in a tizzy, inflamed, juiced up, jumpy, keyed up, moved, nervous, on edge, on fire, overwrought, passionate, piqued, provoked, roused, ruffled, steamed up, stimulated, stirred, thrilled, tumultous/tumultuous, wild, wired, worked up, zipped up
I don’t think all of them are applicable. *laughs*
Tangent. Oops. *gets back on track*
I was delighted to see the blog about my bit in the book! I love the story, the cause is dear to me and KallySten is a lovely person. In other words, I’m totally enthusiastic about the whole thing. I am hoping that you people will be just as feverish about donating to the cause. I’ll be beside myself if you do since I’m really quite passionate about this cause.
*grins* I think that’s enough with the synonyms eh?
Here’s the promo:
